SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Rampage will celebrate breast cancer survivors and raise awareness to breast health when the team hosts their eighth annual Pink in the Rink Night on February 2, the team announced on Wednesday.
From the press release:
“For the eighth consecutive year, the game will be played on pink ice and the Rampage will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game to benefit Susan G. Komen.
Highlighting this year’s Pink in the Rink events is a special kind of cattle drive. A pink bull statue, painted by Rampage players and local breast cancer survivors, will be roaming San Antonio with the hashtag #IPinkFor, giving San Antonians the chance to sign the names of the fighters and survivors they pink for. Fans are encouraged to take a photo with the bull and post on social, with the hashtag and the name of the person they pink for, for a chance to win tickets to the game as well as be featured in-game.”
The Rampage will host their in-state rivals, the Texas Stars, and the game will be presented by Methodist Healthcare System.
