Rampage sign Richart and Sampair to amateur tryout contracts


The San Antonio Rampage have signed defenseman Taylor Richart and forward Charlie Sampair to amateur tryout contracts, the team announced this week.

Richart appeared in 118 games with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, posting 24 goals and 37 assists. He spent four years at Miami University (Ohio), posting 20 points.

Sampair posted a total of 61 points (32g/29a) in 71 games with the Tulsa Oilers this season. He previously scored three goals and 10 assists in 44 games with the Alaska Aces
