SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Rampage have signed forwards Brendan Ranford and Brady Shaw to AHL contracts, the team officially announced on Tuesday.
Ranford was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche at the NHL’s trade deadline. He split his time between the Texas Stars, Tucson Roadrunners, and Rampage during the 2016-17 season. He tallied 34 points with 10 goals and 24 assists during the 2016-17 regular campaign.
Shaw rejoins the Silver and Black after making his professional debut with the Rampage on April 1 against the Stockton Heat. The 24-year-old spent four seasons with the University of Vermont (H-East).
The Rampage will open the 2017-18 regular season on October 7 against the Ontario Reign at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
