Rampage sign forwards St. Amant and Marchment to AHL contracts

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Rampage have signed forwards Shawn St. Amant and Jake Marchment to AHL contracts, the team announced on Monday afternoon.

St. Amant returns to San Antonio, where he posted three goals and five assists in 28 games during the 2016-17 season. He split his time between the Rampage and the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles for last season. While with Colorado, he scored 28 points and helped lead the Eagles to their first Kelly Cup title.

Marchment joins the Rampage after splitting his time between the AHL and ECHL last season. The 22-year-old played with the San Jose Barracuda, where he played in four games. He also spent time with the Allen Americans and Indy Fuel.


The Rampage will open the 2017-18 season on Saturday, October 7 at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m. against the Ontario Reign.
