Rampage sign defenseman Justin Hamonic

The San Antonio Rampage have signed defenseman Justin Hamonic to an AHL contract, team General Manager Craig Billington announced on Thursday.

Hamonic spent the past four years with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League. He posted three goals, 43 assists and 199 penalty minutes in 255 games. Following his time with the Americans, he joined the ECHL’s Alaska Aces and played in four games.

The Rampage will open the 2015-16 season in October.
