The San Antonio Rampage have released forward Byron Froese from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO), Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced on Monday afternoon.

During his time with the silver and black, the 23-year-old appeared in just three games and put up two shots on goal.

Froese will now join the Cincinnati Cyclones, the ECHL affiliate of the Panthers.


The Rampage own a 3-1-0-0 (6 points) record on the season and will return to the ice on Friday night when they travel to Utica to face the Comets at 6 p.m. inside Utica Memorial Auditorium.
