The San Antonio Rampage are in a funk after losing their third straight game and two players to the Florida Panthers. They have called on some reinforcements for some help.
Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced on Sunday the team has recalled forward Joe Basaraba from the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones.
Basaraba has posted three goals and five assists in four games with Cincinnati so far in the 2014-15 season. Last season, he tallied a goal and four assists with the Cyclones in their run to the Kelly Cup Finals.
The Rampage currently own a record of 5-5-0-0 (10 points) and will return to the ice on Friday evening when they welcome the Toronto Marlies to town at 7:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
