Rampage recall goaltender Kant Simpson from Eagles


The San Antonio Rampage have recalled goaltender Kant Simpson from their ECHL affiliate Colorado Eagles, the team announced on Wednesday.

San Antonio goaltender Jeremy Smith suffered an undisclosed injury and is listed as day-to-day. Simon will likely serve as the backup netminder to Spencer Martin.

Simpson played in three games with the Eagles this season, posting a 2.01 goals-allowed average and .933 saves percentage in 179 minutes.

Additionally, the team announced they’ve signed Matt Lashoff to a professional tryout contract.
