The San Antonio Rampage have recalled forward Alex Belzile from their ECHL affiliate Fort Wayne Komets, the team announced on Saturday morning.

Belzile has posted five goals and 15 assists in 17 games with the Komets this season. The 24-year-old has played two contests with the Rampage this season on an earlier recall.

In last night’s 3-0 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals, Borna Rendulic suffered an injury and did not return. The call up will give San Antonio another healthy forward.

The Rampage are currently 16-16-7-0 on the season and will return to the ice tonight against the Admirals to complete their weekend series.
