Rampage make roster moves

With a week off until their next game, the San Antonio Rampage made some roster moves as players continue to get healthy and others hav surged in play. Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced on Monday forward Tony Turgeon has been recalled from the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones. Also Steven Hodges and Joe Basaraba have been reassigned to Cincinnati.

Turgeon has played in seven games with the Rampage so far this season, having played just five with the Silver and Black last season.

Hodges has suited up in 23 games for San Antonio, but appeared in action with the Victoria Royals (WHL) last season. He had 70 goals and 74 assists in 184 games with Victoria.


Basaraba has an assist through 22 games with the Silver and Black. Before he was recalled, he had three goals and five assists in four contests for Cincinnati.

The Rampage currently own a record of 21-13-3-0 (45 points) and will return to the ice on Saturday when they welcome the Rochester Americans to the AT&T Center at 7 p.m.
