Rampage look to stay hot against Texas


The San Antonio Rampage (22-13-3-0, 47 points) return to the ice tonight when they take on their in-state rival Texas Stars (16-14-9-0, 41 points) tonight at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio is coming off a 5-3 win over the Rochester Americans on Saturday night. Connor Brickley, Bobby Butler and Mark Mancari all picked up goals in the win and goaltender Dan Ellis got the win in net. The Rampage have 47 points and sit sixth in the Western Conference.

Texas enters with a 5-2 loss against the Oklahoma City Barons on Saturday. Meech and Derek Hulak scored for the Stars in the loss. The Stars have 41 points and sit 10th in the Western Conference, two points out of the eighth and final playoff spot.

San Antonio has a 25-28-7-2 record all-time against the Dallas Stars affiliate. The Silver and Black are 3-1 so far against Texas and will play the Stars eight more times this season.

The Rampage and Stars will drop the puck tonight at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m. Samantha Garcia will have the game recap on site later.
