The San Antonio Rampage will look to rebound from Thursday’s opening series loss to the Oklahoma City Barons when the two teams meet in Game 2 tonight at 7 p.m and even the best-of-five series.

In Game 1, the silver and black held a one goal lead before allowing four third period goals as the Barons pulled away. Brad Hunt gave Oklahoma City the lead, but Vincent Trocheck tied the game up at one. Rocco Grimaldi gave San Antonio the lead but that is as far as the Rampage would get. Ryan Hamilton put home a goal after a San Antonio turnover to seal the win.

This season, San Antonio went 9-1-2 against the Edmonton Oilers affiliate. San Antonio has a 5-1 record in Oklahoma City and a 4-0-2 record at the AT&T Center, with 39 goals for and 31 goals against. Bobby Butler led the Rampage in scoring, but is sidelined with a torn Achilles. Andrew Miller was the hot player for Oklahoma City with 27 goals.

The Rampage and Barons will drop the puck tonight at 7 p.m. inside the Cox Convention Center. Stephen Anderson will have a full recap after the game. Follow @andrsonstevem and @RampageCentral for Game 2 updates.
