The San Antonio Rampage (36-20-5-1, 78 points) return to the ice tonight to begin a three-in-three weekend. Their first game begins tonight as they face the Oklahoma City Barons (37-19-3-3, 80 points) in a Western Conference showdown.
San Antonio enters fourth place in the Western Conference and second in the West Division. They are coming off a 9-3 win over the Charlotte Checkers on Tuesday night at the AT&T Center. Brett Olson, Shane O’Brien, Mark Mancari, Andrew Yogan, Blake Parlett and Matt Corrente all tallied goals in the win. Michael Houser stopped all, but two shots he faced to easily get the win.
Oklahoma City enters second in the Western Conference and first in the West Division. They are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals, where Bogdan Yakimov tallied both goals for the Barons in the loss.
The Silver and Black are 24-6-2-1 against the West Division this season. San Antonio is 24-24-2-2 all-time against the Edmonton Oilers affiliate, including a 7-1-2-0 record this season.
