After defeating the Iowa Wild 3-2 on opening night, the San Antonio Rampage continue opening weekend tonight when they welcome the Oklahoma City Barons to the friendly confines.
San Antonio (1-0-0-0, 2 pts) got a goal from Mark Mancari, his first in a Rampage uniform. Goaltender Dan Ellis saved 23 shots and came up big in the final two minutes as he made save after save to lead the silver and black to victory.
The Barons (0-0-0-0) open their season tonight and have had success again San Antonio. Goaltenders Richard Bachman and Laurent Brossoit have both played well against the silver and black, with Bachman shutting out the Rampage last season.
