Rampage fall in Milwaukee

The San Antonio Rampage suffered their third straight loss as they fell 6-3 to the Milwaukee Admirals in front of 2,515 fans inside the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Tuesday night.

San Antonio got on the scoreboard when Marc-Andre Cliché beat Admirals netminder Juuse Saros at the 7:21 mark of the opening frame to put the Rampage up 1-0. Milwaukee responded with two consecutive power play goals from Viktor Arvidsson to carry a 2-1 lead into the second period.

Milwaukee extended their lead to 3-1 with a Pontus Aberg goal at 3:05 of the second period, but Borna Rendulic responded 50 seconds later to cut the deficit back to one. A San Antonio turnover led to a tally from Colton Sissons in the 11th minute, but Rendulic scored his second of the evening to cut the led to 4-3 going into the final period.

The Admirals scored twice in the third period with goals from Felix Gerard and Conor Allen to cap the scoring and give Milwaukee the 6-3 win. Following the sixth goal, Calvin Pickard would be pulled from net for Roman Will.

San Antonio finished 1-for-3 on the power play, while the Admirals were a perfect 2-for-2 with the man advantage.

The Rampage are now 9-3-5-0 (23 points) on the season and will return to the ice tomorrow night when they travel to Rockford to face the IceHogs at 7:30 p.m.
