The San Antonio Rampage (23-14-3-0) will look to bounce back from their 6-2 loss to the Lake Erie Monsters (17-16-3-3) on Tuesday evening when the two teams close out their quick two-game set before the AHL All-Star Classic.
San Antonio enters with 49 points and fifth in the Western Conference. They are just five points from ninth place and four points behind fourth place Milwaukee. The Silver and Black scored twice in the opening period, getting goals from Greg Zanon and Corban Knight. However, they have up four goals in the third period as goaltender Michael Houser stopped 24 of 30 shots he faced in the loss.
The Silver and Black are 17-11 all-time against the Colorado Avalanche affiliate and tonight will be the second of four meetings between the two teams.
