The San Antonio Rampage resumed the second half of their 2014-15 season on Thursday and the Silver and Black regroup as they continued to dominate over the defending Calder Cup champions.
San Antonio rallied from a two-goal deficit to force overtime and defeat the Texas Stars (18-15-10-0, 52 points) 3-2 in overtime in front of 3,106 fans inside the Cedar Park Center on Thursday night.

The Stars extended their lead to two goals when Travis Morin put home a rebound past Ellis for a power play tally early in the second frame. San Antonio finally got on the scoreboard when Jesse Blacker fired a shot past Jussi Rynnas to cut the Texas lead to 2-1 going into the final period of play. Rocco Grimaldi and Vincent Trocheck assisted on Blacker’s power play tally.
San Antonio outshot Texas 25-6 in the third period as Connor Brickley tallied a rebound to even the score 2-2 and force overtime after being down two goals.
