Rampage cut three, roster stands at 32

The San Antonio Rampage have their first preseason game in the books and cuts needed to be made by next weeks opening night. Sunday saw the silver and black cut three from their training camp roster.

Goaltender Clarke Saunders, defenseman Martin Lee and forward Andrew Huff have been released from their amateur tryout contracts, Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced Sunday.

The Rampage roster now stands at 32 players.


San Antonio is 1-0 in preseason play and will return to the ice this afternoon against the Texas Stars at 3 p.m. inside Cedar Park Center.

The Rampage will open the 2014-15 regular season on Friday, October 10 against the Iowa Wild at the AT&T Center at 7:30 p.m.
