Rampage close out series with Grand Rapids


The San Antonio Rampage (28-16-4-0) continue their annual Rodeo Road Trip tonight and are looking to sweep the Grand Rapids Griffins. Their second of a three game weekend.

Grand Rapids (25-17-3-1) is currently seventh in the Western Conference, while San Antonio is fourth. The two teams will meet again in April at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio lost their opening game of the Rodeo Road Trip, dropping a 6-1 decision to the Texas Stars on Tuesday night. Grand Rapids enters the game coming off a 4-3 loss to the Rochester Americans last Saturday night.

The Silver and Black are 26-28-1-4 against Grand Rapids all-time, including a 4-0 season sweep last season where they won both games on the road and at home. San Antonio is 20-5 against teams from the West Division this season.

The Rampage and Griffins will drop the puck tonight at 6 p.m. inside Van Andel Arena. Stephen Anderson will have a full recap of the game on the website later.
