Rampage blanked by Admirals as home woes continue

The San Antonio Rampage began a nine-game homestand on Friday, hoping to reverse some of the bad luck they have had inside the friendly confines. Sadly, the home woes continued as the Silver and Black failed to record a goal for the first time at home this season.

The Rampage suffered a 3-0 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals in front of 6,486 fans at the AT&T Center for their 11th consecutive home loss.

After a scoreless opening frame, the Rampage got on the scoreboard in the middle frame. Vladislav Kamenev got loose on a breakaway to beat Roman Will to give the Admirals a 1-0 lead going into the final frame.

Milwaukee extended their lead to two goals in the third period. Colton Sissons buried the puck at the 10:30 mark for a power play tally. Adam Payerl capped the scoring seven minutes later to seal the 3-0 win for the Admirals.

San Antonio has not won at home in nearly two months, with their last win inside the AT&T Center coming on November 17.

The Rampage are now 16-16-7-0 (39 points) on the season and will return to the ice tomorrow night for a rematch with the Admirals at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
