Rampage agree to deal with Defenseman Rob O’Gara


The San Antonio Rampage have agreed on terms for a contract with defenseman Rob O’Gara, team General Manager Kevin McDonald announced on Tuesday.

O’Gara comes to San Antonio after spending the 2018-19 season as an assistant captain with the Hartford Wolf Pack, where he posted three goals, 11 points, and a career-high 64 penalty minutes.

The 26-year-old has played in 154 AHL games with the Wolf Pack and Providence Bruins, totaling 10 goals, 33 points, 114 penalty minutes, and a plus-21 rating. In 33 career NHL games, he has three goals and six penalty minutes.

The Rampage will open the 2019-20 regular season on October 4 at the AT&T Center against the Manitoba Moose.
