Preview: San Antonio FC continues push for playoffs against Arizona

San Antonio FC will look to continue their push for the playoffs when they host Arizona United SC this evening at Toyota Field.

SAFC fell 1-2 to the  Swope Park Rangers on Wednesday in their two-game road trip finale, ending the clubs three game win streak. The loss also knocked San Antonio out of the top eight, but sit tied with the Orange County Blues for the final playoff berth in the Western Conference.

Arizona is coming off a 1-2 loss to the LA Galaxy II on Wednesday. The club has lost four straight and has not won a match since August 13.

The two teams previously met twice in the season. In fact, Arizona’s last win was against SAFC (1-0) at home on August 13. Four days later, San Antonio got the 3-2 win to end their winless streak.

San Antonio FC and Arizona United SC will kick things off at 5 p.m. from Toyota Field. Follow Red Black 90 across social media for live updates.
