Preview: Texas Derby Part III – SAFC faces RGV FC on road

San Antonio FC will look to get back in the win column when they take on Rio Grande Valley FC Toros for the second straight time this evening.

SAFC and RGV fought to a 0-0 draw last Saturday night, marking only the fourth time the team has been shutout.  The club currently owns a 2-4-4 record for 10 points and are 12th in the West standings.

RGV FC has not lost since April 30. The Toros are 4-2-4 and in fifth place in the West.


San Antonio fell 3-2 to RGV in their first meeting of the season. The team rallied from an 0-2 deficit to tie the game with goals from Manolo Sanchez and Shawn Chin.
