The San Antonio Stars and Seattle Storm are two teams on the outside looking in of the playoff picture as the season comes to an end. This evening the chances of one teams playoff hopes will be all but over.
San Antonio (7-21) trails the Los Angeles Sparks by 4 games with six games to play. They fell 90-59 to the Sparks on Sunday. The loss was the Stars fifth straight and third consecutive at home by an average of 25.4 points. Kayla McBride has shot shooting 10 of 32 from the field in the past two games.
Seattle (7-20) is coming off a 75-63 loss to Indiana on Friday. Jewell Loyd had 15 in Friday’s loss to the Fever.
