The San Antonio Stars are coming one of their worst game of the season. They will try to respond and avoid a season sweep by the Minnesota Lynx when the two teams for the final time in 2015 this evening.
San Antonio (7-19) fell 73-45 to the New York Liberty Wednesday night. The Stars have lost seven of eight games and currently sit 1 1/2 games behind the Los Angeles Sparks for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Minnesota (18-8) has a 2 1/2-game lead over Phoenix in the West, but has lost two straight games to the Washington Mystics. The most recent was a 79-61 loss on Wednesday.
San Antonio has lost 13 of the last 14 games against Minnesota, but was competitive in their last meeting. The silver and black had an 11 point halftime lead before getting outscored 30-13 in the final quarter and Minnesota grabbed the seven point win.
