The San Antonio Stars will look to end their winless streak away from home when they face the New York Liberty on Wednesday morning to conclude their three game road trip.

San Antonio (3-10) is coming off a 66-49 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday night. The Stars struggled shooting just 29.0 percent in their worst loss of the season. The silver and black were without Kayla McBride, Jia Perkins and Alex Montgomery for the third straight game.

New York (7-5) looks to rebound after a 84-76 loss to the Atlanta Dream on Sunday. Tina Charles had 22 points as the Liberty rallied from a 19-point deficit.

The Stars have lost four of their last five, but a game against New York may be what the doctor ordered. San Antonio hasn’t lost to the Liberty since 2011 and aren’t looking to change that anytime soon.

Last season, San Antonio went 2-0 against New York as McBride averaged 22.0 points in the two meetings.

The Stars and Liberty will tip things off this morning at 10 a.m. and Stephen Anderson will have a full game recap. Follow @sastarshoops and @andersonstevem for live game updates.
