After their first home loss in nearly a month, the San Antonio Stars will look to bounce back when they take on the Los Angeles Sparks this afternoon.

San Antonio (6-13) is coming off a Friday loss to the Washington Mystics. Sophia Young-Malcolm had 17 points and Kayla McBride added 11 for the Stars, who had their six game home win streak snapped.

Los Angeles (4-14) come in with the league’s worst record. The Sparks earned a 88-77 win at Chicago on Friday as Candace Parker scored 31 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the win.

So far this season, the two teams have split the two meetings. Los Angeles won 86-81 over San Antonio without Parker back in July. However, the silver and black have won four of the last five meetings.

The Stars and Sparks will tip things off today at 3:30 p.m. from Freeman Coliseum and Stephen Anderson will have a game recap. Follow @sastarshoops and @andersonstevem for live updates.
