Preview: Stars look for first road win of 2015 in Minnesota

The San Antonio Stars will look to grab their first road win of the 2015 season when they take on the Minnesota Lynx tonight at 6 p.m.

San Antonio (3-9) is coming off a 83-76 road loss to the Indiana Fever on Friday night. Sophia Young-Malcolm scored a season-high 27 points in the loss as the Stars were without Kayla McBride, Jia Perkins or Alex Montgomery for the second straight game.

Minnesota (8-3) enters off a 90-83 loss to the Chicago Sky. The Lynx allow their opponents to score allowing 67.8 points per game, the lowest in 10 years.


Last season, San Antonio went 1-3 against Minnesota. That includes being swept in the 2014 WNBA Playoffs. Maya Moore totaled 42 points, 17 assists and 14 rebounds in the series last season. The Stars have lost 11 of 12 meetings with Minnesota overall.
