The San Antonio Stars will look to continue their winning ways at home when they welcome the East-leading New York Liberty to Freeman Coliseum this evening.
San Antonio (7-18) is coming off a 72-63 loss to the Seattle Storm on Sunday evening. Kayla McBride and Jia Perkins combined for 31 points in the loss as the Stars fell to 0-13 on the road. The silver and black are currently 2-8 against the Eastern Conference, including a loss to the Liberty earlier in the season.
New York (16-7) fell to the Tulsa Shock on Sunday 81-76. Epiphanny Prince shot just 2-for-11 in the loss as the Liberty’s four game winning streak came to an end. New York is 7-2 against the Western Conference, with both losses coming against Tulsa.
San Antonio is 17-20 against New York all-time, but has won the past three home games against the Liberty. The Stars are 10-8 in the Alamo City against the Liberty.
