The San Antonio Stars are hoping for deja vu when they face the Chicago Sky this evening for the second time this season.
San Antonio fell 93-90 to the Connecticut Sun on Sunday afternoon. Kayla McBride scored 26 points as the Silver and Black shot 51% for the game.
The Sky fell 101-97 overtime loss to the Atlanta Dream in their last time out. Elena Delle Donne had 26 points to led Chicago.
The two teams met once already this season, resulting in the Stars first win of the year. Haley Peters scored all 16 of her points in the fourth quarter as San Antonio rallied from a 15-point deficit.
After starting the season slow, Stars rookie Moriah Jefferson is on a tear in her last three games. She’s averaging Jefferson averaged 15.7 points per game, including a career-high 19 against the Seattle Storm last Tuesday.
The Stars and Sky will tip things off at 7 p.m. inside Allstate Arena.
