The San Antonio Stars will begin a new era of basketball when they host the Atlanta Dream in their season opener at the AT&T Center this evening.
San Antonio opens the season with Moriah Jefferson, selected with the No. 2 pick and Kayla McBride as their go-to players. Key veterans Sophia Young-Malcolm (retired), Jia Perkins (traded), and Danielle Adams (waived) are all gone.

Last season, the Stars finished 8-26 and open this season without four of their top five scorers from a year ago. McBride returns for her third season, averaging 13.8 points per game in 2015.
