Preview: Scorpions return home to face Minnesota

The San Antonio Scorpions will look to return to their winning ways when they welcome Minnesota United F.C. to Toyota Field tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Minnesota currently sits fourth in the NASL table with four points. The Loons are coming off a 1-1 draw to Club Leon last weekend. Former Scorpion Pablo Campos scored the lone goal in the match.

San Antonio sits seventh in the standings and are in a four-way tie for third place coming into Saturday’s match. The Scorpions fell 2-3 last Saturday to the Carolina Railhawks on the road. César Elizondo and Rafael Castillo each tallied goals in the loss.


Overall, the red and black are 3-6-5 against Minnesota, including a 1-2-4 mark at home.
