Preview: Scorpions return home to face Jacksonville

The San Antonio Scorpions will return home for the first time in a month when they welcome Jacksonville Armada to Toyota Field this evening at 7:30 p.m.

San Antonio comes in with a record of 4-5-8 and five points during the Fall Season. That has them in last place in the NASL table. In the combined standings, the red and black have 17 points and still remain at the bottom. The Scorpions fell 1-2 to the New York Cosmos last weekend have lost three of their last four matches.

Jacksonville enters tonight with a Fall Season record of 1-3-4 and 10 points. They currently sit seventh in the NASL table and are eighth in the combined standings with 22 points. Jacksonville has won two of their last three matches coming into the match.


The red and black fell 1-2 in their only other meeting with Jacksonville when the two clubs met in Florida in the Spring Season.
