Preview: Scorpions face Railhawks in Carolina


The San Antonio Scorpions will look to push their point streak to three games when they face the Carolina Railhawks tonight at 6:30 p.m.

San Antonio (1-1-1, 4 points) is playing their third game in eight days. They are coming off a 2-2 draw against the FC Edmonton Eddies on Saturday. Cesar Elizondo and Omar Cummings each had goals in the game that saw the Scorpions earn a point.

Cummings has a league-leading eight goals in the 2015 season.

Carolina (1-1-1, 4 points) are coming off a 2-1 loss to Indy Eleven. Austin da Luz scored the lone goal for the Railhawks in the defeat.

Overall, the red and black are 8-0-4 all-time against Carolina, including a 2-0-3 record on the road. San Antonio has a +12 goal differential against the Railhawks, the most in the NASL.
