The San Antonio Rampage (1-1-0-0) will continue their four-game road trip when they face the San Jose Barracuda (1-0-0-0) this afternoon in California.
Last time out: The Rampage fell 5-4 to the Bakersfield Condors to open up the four-game trip. Samuel Blais scored two goals and posted an assist in the loss, which was plagued by a poor second period as San Antonio was outscored 3-1.
Perfect kill: San Antonio is a perfect 8-for-8 on the penalty kill after stopping all five Condors power play chances on Thursday, putting them in an eight-way tie for first in the AHL.
Getting help: The Rampage got some help from both the Blues and Avalanche this week. St. Louis recalled Blais and sent down Tage Thompson. Additionally, Colorado sent down A.J. Greer to San Antonio.
Against San Jose: Last season, the Rampage went 4-2 through six meetings with the Barracuda. Overall, San Antonio is 7-5 against the San Jose Sharks affiliate.
The Rampage and Barracuda will drop the puck at 3:15pm from the SAP Center.
