San Antonio FC will face the Seattle Sounders 2 FC for their first match of their inaugural season this evening at 7 p.m.

SAFC comes into the season after completing a perfect preseason with a 6-0-2 record. Jason Johnson was the standout of the preseason for SAFC, tallying five goals and recording one assist. Head Coach Darren Powell will be in charge of the club in their first season, who brings 15 years of coaching experience to the Alamo City.

Seattle is winless so far during the 2016 season after two matches. The Sounders fell 0-1 to Sacramento Republic FC and 0-2 to Arizona United. During the 2015 season, Seattle finished with a 13-12-3 record.

This will be the first of two meetings between the clubs this season.
