Preview: San Antonio FC hosts Tulsa to conclude April

San Antonio FC will look to get back on the winning track when they host the Tulsa Roughnecks FC tonight at Toyota Field for the beginning of four of the next five games in the Alamo City.

SAFC will be playing in just their second home game of the season after three straight road matches, finishing 0-1-2. The club fell 1-0 to Colorado Springs last Saturday after a defensive error led to a Martin Maybin goal. SAFC will be looking to find their offense after being held scoreless in their last two outings. Overall, San Antonio sits 12th in the Western Conference with a record of 1-2-2 and five points.

Tulsa is coming off a 2-0 loss to the Portland Timbers 2 last Saturday and enter tonight’s match as losers of four straight. San Antonio might have an easy time putting shots on net as the Roughnecks have allowed 33 shots through five games, the second most in the league. Tulsa sits last in the Western Conference with a 1-3-1 record and four points.

This will be the first of three meetings between the two clubs.

San Antonio FC and Tulsa will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. from Toyota Field and Red Black 90 will have live coverage across social media.
