San Antonio FC will look to gain three huge points when they host Seattle Sounders 2 at Toyota Field this evening.

SAFC took a huge hit when the club announced Josh Ford (broken scapula) and Stephen McCarthy (broken elbow) would miss the rest of the season. They joined Victor Araujo and Shawn Chin, who will both miss the rest of the season as well.

San Antonio earned a 3-1 win over Arizona United SC on Wednesday evening, snapping a four-game winless streak. The victory pushed the club within two points of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. SAFC has a 7-8-7 record, sitting 12 in the West standings with 28 points.

Seattle fell 0-6 to Rio Grande Valley FC last weekend, snapping a 5-game unbeaten streak. The Sounders are one point behind San Antonio, sitting 13th in the West with 27 points.

SAFC won their previous match against S2, a 3-0 victory in April. It was their first ever match in franchise history and the club will go for the season sweep tonight.

San Antonio FC and Seattle kick things off at 7:30 p.m. from Toyota Field. Follow Red Black 90 on all social media for live updates.
