Preview: San Antonio FC hosts LA to close homestand


San Antonio FC will look to extend their unbeaten streak when they host the LA Galaxy II to close out their homestand at Toyota Field this evening.

SAFC enters the contest with a 6-5-6 record for 24 points, sitting in seventh place in the Western Conference. San Antonio earned a 2-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps 2 FC last weekend, extending their unbeaten streak to six games. SAFC has four wins in its last five games, and back-to-back clean sheets.

Los Angeles (8-2-8, 32 points) rides an eight game unbeaten streak coming into the match. Los Dos won 4-1 over Portland Timbers 2 FC last weekend and have outscored their opponents 8-2 in the last three games.

The two teams met once earlier this season with SAFC getting a 1-1 draw on the road.

San Antonio FC and LA Galaxy II will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. from Toyota Field. Coverage of the game can be found on Fox Sports Southwest.
