Preview: SAFC faces Houston Dynamo in U.S. Open Cup play


San Antonio FC will continue their quest for the cup when they face the Houston Dynamo in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup this evening.

SAFC earned a point with a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers 2 on Saturday. San Antonio rallied to defeat Iowa in the third round of the USOC and will make history as they face Houston. It’s the first time the two clubs have met and will face an MLS team for the first time in history.

Houston is coming off a draw against FC Dallas on June 2.

The clubs will kick the game off at 7:15 p.m.
