Preview: Rampage road trip continues in Michigan


After falling in overtime to the Texas Stars to open the season, the San Antonio Rampage continue their three game season opening road trip when they take on the Grand Rapids Griffins this evening.

San Antonio fell 5-4 in overtime to the Texas Stars last Saturday, earning a point. After leading 2-0 and 3-1, Texas scored three consecutive goals before Ben Street scored in the final moments to force the extra period.

Grand Rapids is also winless on the season with back-to-back losses to San Diego Gulls and the Bakersfield Condors. They have 0 points and are looking to grab their first win of the season.

Overall, San Antonio was 2-1-1-0 against the Detroit Red Wings affiliate and were 5-3-0-0 inside Van Andel Arena all-time.
