Preview: Rampage host Heat in home opener


The San Antonio Rampage will open their home slate in the brand new AT&T Center when they welcome the Stockton Heat to the friendly confines this evening.

San Antonio earned a 4-0 win over Grand Rapids last Saturday. Andrew Agozzino notched two goals and goaltender Calvin Pickard stopped all 35 shots he faced in the win. The Rampage have five points and sit third in the Pacific Division.

Stockton is coming off a 1-0 win over the Texas Stars last night. Freddy Hamilton scored the lone goal in the win for the Heat, who sit fifth in the Pacific Division.

Overall, the Rampage are 14-13-1-4 all-time against Calgary Flames affiliates. That includes a 6-6-1-3 mark over the past two seasons. Agozzino, Pickard and Colin Smith have all had success against Flames affiliates in past seasons.
