Preview: Rampage close series with Monsters


The San Antonio Rampage will look to break a five-game winless streak when they close out a two-game series with the Lake Erie Monsters this afternoon.

San Antonio enters the contest with a 24-30-8-0 record and a 0.452 win percentage. The Rampage fell 3-2 to the Monsters on Friday night, despite a final push in the third period. Nate Guenin and Alex Belize each tallied goals in the loss for the Silver and Black.

Lake Erie comes in with a 32-19-5-5 record and 0.607 win percentage. The Monsters rallied from a two-goal deficit and scored three consecutive goals to surprise the Rampage for the come from behind win.

This season, San Antonio is 1-1-1-0 against the Columbus Blue Jackets affiliate.

The Rampage and Monsters will drop the puck this afternoon at 4 p.m. and @RampageCentral will provide live game updates.
