Preview: Rampage begin first three-in-three of season


The San Antonio Rampage will begin their first three-in-three of the season this evening when they host the Chicago Wolves at the AT&T Center.

San Antonio is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the San Diego Gulls on Tuesday night. The Rampage went down 0-2, but forced overtime with a two-goal third period as Michael Schumacher and Andres Martinsen each lit the lamp in the loss. The Silver and Black are 5-0-2-0 (12 points) on the season and sit first in the Pacific Division.

Chicago enters the game with a 5-1-0-1 (11 points) record and sit first in the Central Division. The Wolves earned a 2-0 win over the Manitoba Moose last Sunday.

Overall, San Antonio is 32-47-4-3 against the St. Louis Blues affiliate. Last season, the Rampage were 2-1-1-0 against the Wolves.
