Preview: Ontario Reign at San Antonio Rampage

The San Antonio Rampage (0-0-0-0) will drop the puck on their 16th season in the Alamo City this evening with a visit from the Ontario Reign (0-0-0-0) at the AT&T Center.

Preseason split: The Rampage split their preseason slate with the Texas Stars. San Antonio won their game at home, 4-2, with two of those goals coming on the power play. The next night was a different story as Texas got the 4-0 win up in Cedar Park. This time, the Silver and Black went scoreless on the man advantage.

Power play impact: The power play should be much improved for San Antonio this season. Rocco Grimaldi, Andrew Agozzino, and Brendan Ranford will all lead a Rampage power play unit that should be dangerous to teams.

Against Ontario: Tonight is the first of six meetings between the Rampage and the Reign. Last season, the Rampage went 1-4-1-0 against Ontario and overall are 1-8-3-0 against the Los Angeles Kings affiliate.

The Rampage and the Reign will drop the puck at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.

Game predictions:

Samantha Garcia: Rampage 4, Reign 3 (OT)

Stephen Anderson: Rampage 1, Reign 3
