Outsider Sports Live: Discussing the World Cup and NBA Free Agency

After a week off, Jonathan and Michael are back to talk about the latest in sports.

We start the show off by talking about the FIFA World Cup, and how Mexico miraculously made it into the round of 16 via South Korea’s win over Germany, even though Mexico got wiped out 3-0 by Sweden. We also talk about how this is the first time Germany does not make it out of the group round for the first time since 1936.

We also discussed the NBA Draft selections of both the Spurs and Lakers, and finished the show talking about the latest in NBA Free Agency, including Paul George opting out with the Thunder and the latest trade rumors involving Kawhi Leonard and the Lakers.
