Mikko Rantanen reassigned to Rampage


The Colorado Avalanche have reassigned forward Mikko Rantanen to the San Antonio Rampage, the team announced on Saturday night.

The 19-year-old rookie spent nine games with Colorado and is still looking for his first NHL point. Rantanen has 21 goals, 31 assists and 52 points with the Silver and Black this season, setting a new franchise record.

The Rampage will return to the ice this evening when they face the Bakersfield Condors at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m.
