Match #8 Preview: SAFC returns home to host Sacramento Republic FC


San Antonio FC (6-0-1) returns home to host Sacramento Republic FC (3-3-1) to open up a three-game homestand after playing three games in seven days on the road.

Last time out: SAFC earned a 4-0 win over Portland Timbers 2 to close their road trip with a perfect 3-0 record and nine points. San Antonio was led by Billy Forbes, who has scored six goals in seven matches played.

Top of table: San Antonio FC sits at the top of the Western Conference with 19 points and is currently four points ahead of Real Monarchs SLC by four points.

Against Sacramento: SAFC will play Sacramento for just the second time in club history. The two teams fought to a 1-1 draw in California in the 2016 season.

San Antonio FC and Sacramento Republic will kick things off at 7:30 p.m. from Toyota Field.
