The awards just keep coming for former San Antonio Stars guard Becky Hammon. Last week she was honored with the 2014 Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award and now another award is coming her way.

Hammon along with Indiana Fever Head Coach Lin Dunn will be honored with the Boost Mobile Pioneer Award, the league announced on Friday.

The Pioneer Award recognizes females in the sports world who embody the spirit of the WNBA.

The 16-year veteran retired after the 2014 season and will become the first full-time and paid female assistant coach in NBA history for the San Antonio Spurs coaching staff for the 2014-15 NBA season.

Hammon averaged 14.0 points per game in the 2014 Playoffs against the Minnesota Lynx.
