The San Antonio Rampage began their 13th training camp in the Alamo City on Tuesday and some familiar faces, including Bobby Butler, Joey Crabb, Ryan Martindale and Garrett Wilson were all on the ice.

Late Tuesday, the Florida Panthers announced they have assigned goaltender Dan Ellis to the Rampage.

Ellis joins other goaltenders Michael Houser, Sam Brittain and Clarke Saunders in training camp as Florida’s roster has now been trimmed down to 31 players.

Fans will get their first chance to see the silver and black in action on Saturday October 4, when San Antonio welcomes the Oklahoma City Barons to the AT&T Center at 3 p.m.

The Rampage will open the 2014-15 season on Friday, October 10 against the Iowa Wild at the AT&T Center at 7:30 p.m.
